about Sam Hughes
Sam Hughes a prolific painter and illustrator studying Fine Arts at TAFE. With a focus on utility areas of streetscapes such as alleyways, car parks, loading docks and back of shop storage areas, Sam is developing a practice of using waste materials from the sign industry. He is also dabbling in portraiture. Sam believes his space was previously a talent agency as he’s found a talent card of a man doing duck-faced poses in idyllic locations.
