UPDATE 12 SEP 2014 Made by Ronnoco are very pleased to let everyone know they’ve signed a commercial lease in the space they have activated since March 2014. “Since moving out of The Roost and into our own space our business has grown from strength to strength. The street front exposure has helped build our reputation, attract new clients and give us a place we can call home,” says Made by Ronnoco co-founder Raz O’Connor. You can keep up to date with MBR through their website www.madebyronnoco.com and via Facebook
Who are you?
We are Jodi and Raz O’Connor collectively known as Made by Ronnoco.
What do you do?
Made by Ronnoco is a creative design studio. We specialise in brand identity, web design and print design and enjoy working with our clients to understand their core values, articulate their brand vision and develop effective creative solutions whether we’re crafting a new identity or evolving an existing one.
Between us we have over 40 years combined experience in print and digital communication, brand development, publishing and project management.
Jodi’s focus is managing the studio, client liaison and project management whilst Raz concentrates on all creative direction and design. In short Raz colours in and Jodi makes sure he stays within the lines! We love what we do, we have fun, and we like meeting people and making friends along the way.
What inspired you to get involved in Renew Newcastle?
We’ve been running our studio out of another Renew Newcastle project The Roost Creative for the past 2.5 years and are excited to have been offered our own space to spread our wings and build a new home for our creativity.
What are you doing in your new space?
Our main focus will be running our design studio but Jodi is also an Adobe InDesign expert and we are planning to run master classes in the near future. We’re also sharing the space with Sharperstill an accomplished architectural and commercial photographer with over 20 years of experience in the editorial field.
Tell us about the space – what was its previous use?
A branch of Hearing Life, Australia’s leading hearing clinic and care provider, previously occupied the space. It’s a functional office space that we’re bringing to life with a healthy splash of purple – our brand colour!
