What inspired you to get involved in Renew Newcastle?
I’m excited to be a part of Renew Newcastle as it’s a fantastic initiative aimed at bringing life back into Newcastle and it’s a great opportunity for a business getting established to get involved in the community, to network & contribute.
What are you doing in your new space?
Using the space to work on projects, free forming ideas, meeting clients & collaborate with others,.
Tell us about the space The office space, located on Watt Street is part of a cluster of Renew Newcastle enterprises co-located on the one floor, with shared facilities such as toilets, kitchen, storage & a relaxed common area. The floor space is quite versatile, with lots of cool angles & quirky design features in the building for visual effects.
The space we occupy is located at the back of the building & was used as an office by Manway Logistics. It gets nice morning light & afternoon reflections but we only turn the drapes open, not slide, as it seems to distract those pigeons that fancy attempting to fly through glass windows.
Probably the best feature is that it’s very handy to the kitchen for cups of tea and it means Good Mixer Media now has it’s own quiet (haha) space to call HQ.
You’ll find me in the office most days or ‘out on business’ when the light is right.
