Kerrie Fletcher has operated her dance costume design workshop from home for years, and was in desperate need for more space.

Her business is principally involved in the design and making of custom made dance costumes, catering to all dance groups (jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, etc). She also sells dance accessories such as stockings and jewelry (tiaras, etc).

Juggling several dance school commissions at once means she needed her big laying out tables to overflow with fabric, with many orders on the go at once.

The large shop Kerrie has occupied in Market Square was way too large for many of other Renew Newcastle projects but perfect for Kerrie and her industrial machines, large tables and rolls of stock. It has also allowed her space for a display area for materials, costumes and accessories.
