Creative Talks with Ghostpatrol

Renew Newcastle is happy to announce that illustrator Ghostpatrol will join us for October Creative Talks on Friday 4 October 2013.

Ghostpatrol is a self-taught artist born in Hobart. He currently works as a professional artist sharing a studio with partner Miso in Melbourne. Ghostpatrol works across mediums including illustration, printmaking, mural and sculpture that extend from gallery to street. Ghostpatrol creates worlds, exploring ideas of space exploration, cosmic scale and the super future. Represented by Hugo Mitchell Gallery.

Friday 4 October 2013 8.30am breakfast and registration 9.00am talk by Ghostpatrol.

The Lock-Up Cultural Centre, 90 Hunter St, Newcastle.

Creative Talks is FREE to attend but you will need to REGISTER to reserve a seat.

Renew Newcastle presents Creative Talks, a series of breakfast lectures by people who are making a living from their creativity. Taking place on a Friday morning each month, a well-regarded creative will be invited to speak for 30 minutes about the lessons they have learned growing their art into a commercial success.

This will be followed by an audience Q&A and the opportunity to mingle with local creatives from a wide range of backgrounds. Attendance is free and breakfast (coffee, tea, pastries and fruit) is provided.
