Creating Cities book launch & Bespoke TV series viewing

In 2013 Marcus Westbury secured support via a record-breaking Australian crowd-funding campaign to produce a book about the ideas behind the award-winning, internationally replicated urban regeneration project, Renew Newcastle.

Two years later Creating Cities, a small book about big ideas for local places, has finally been published.

Join Marcus in celebrating this huge achievement with a Q&A, book-signing and a TV show viewing.

CREATING CITIES BOOK LAUNCH & BESPOKE TV SERIES VIEWING
From 7pm, Thursday 3 September

7:00pm
Grab a drink and a spot on the balcony at Central Bar

7:30 – 8:30pm
Q&A with Marcus Westbury presented by Newcastle Herald journalist and founding Director of the Newcastle Writers Festival, Rosemarie Milsom.

8:30pm – 9.45pm
Marcus will be available to sign copies of his book (available for sale during the event) and for general high-fives and pats on the back.

10:00pm
Watch the first episode of Marcus’s new TV series, Bespoke as it premieres live on ABC1.
